Hinckley & Bosworth Community Transport are delighted to announce that the Department of Transport has subsidised a brand-new Mercedes Benz minibus to support the essential service it provides within the community which is a clear indication that the Government acknowledges the value of community-based transport and is particularly proud that our long-established local community transport scheme has been singled out to continue its work to benefit local people.
The dark blue “Sprinter” mini-bus has been adapted to be fully accessible for people who have mobility difficulties. It has a capacity for 16 passengers or 15 and 1 wheelchair user and is available to groups for outings or lunch clubs and also for individuals for supermarket shopping.
